These are redesigns of the characters from Super Mario.

Mario

Mario is a genius scientist and an adventurer who came from the Earth to the Mushroom planet. In order to save Princess Peach, he developed a battle suit powered by magic mushrooms for himself to fight with Bowser.

Kinopio

Kinopio is an alien from Mushroom planet. He travels with Mario to support him on his trip. Kinopio is not good at fighting but he makes magic portion from mushrooms for Mario. They are good partners.

Princess Peach

She is the young princess of Mushroom planet, but she is captured by Bowser to his planet.

Bowser

He is a horrible monster and the king of Koopa planet. He captures Princess Peach.

Dynamic Sketching Redesigns

Below are also pages from my final book for Dynamic Sketching class. I really like doing these redesigns, so I make them a separate post!

Don't read the texts too much though. I did not spend enough time to think of them...
My theme is "Kaijin, " or humanoid monster. Basically, I designed them as villains from some kind of evil organization. I just imagined them as those appearing in Kamen Rider and other Tokusatsu series. I am also thinking of designing a hero to fight with them.
